When you sign up for the forums your account, ip or email (2 of the 3) must match your game login or the account will not be accepted.

So you must have an account registered and char in that account, so that these things can be confirmed. There are to many bots trying to get in.

Some people have been asking if you need to have a forums account, the answer is simply "Yes".
